Project Engineer

Project Engineer needed for an immediate opening with our client in the Lowell MA area. This is a full time direct hire opportunity with an exciting and growing company. Candidates interested in this position should have a BS degree in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering; be proficient with AutoCAD and/or Solidworks and have experience in the construction or management of large scale industrial projects.
Responsibilities for the Project Engineer
Creating approval and detail drawings.
Steel sizing and verification.
Material pricing and ordering.
Preparing submittal packages.
Preparing O&M manuals.
Project Management including site visits to verify dimensions and check in with installers.
Requirements for the Project Engineer
BS in Structural or Civil Engineering
Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
4-6 years of relevant construction management experience.
